What about the east?

I sometimes, not all the time, have to talk myself into not feeling homesick. I know that most of what I miss about Utah is the people, but sometimes my concerns are geography related. There definitely are several things that are different about living in the east than in the west. These thoughts lead to my new top five.

I know exactly what you mean. It's hard to be away from family. It is good to remind ourselves of the great blessings we have here. Tim is in Seattle the whole month of August (home on weekends). Go figure! At least he might be able to see my family. I'll add one more to your list, but you won't see it still October...the beautiful colors of Fall. It is amazing here.

Ok ladies, let's talk about the East and Jolie, when the heck are you going to look at my blog!! :)
In the East we have longer butter sticks (Utah had short stubby ones), I have lightning bugs, not fireflies :), we have humidity, come on you love it, it's what makes everything so green, people talk out here, complete strangers tell you their whole life story that'd you'd probably rather not know, lots of history that aren't just Mormon historical sites, oh yes, you have buckeyes (the candy, peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate, MMMmmm), you might have to drive 30-45 minutes to do your visiting teaching=more blessings, right? I'll keep thinking and add them when I can. . .

ok, so a lot of my comments leaned more to the Midwest (even though in Utah people said I'm from back East b/c I was from Ohio) but I think some still apply, I mean you border Ohio. . . :)
