Observations on a Wednesday

First off, really it's only Wednesday, really? Second, we heard the saddest news on Sunday, Pushing Daisies has been cancelled. Shame on all you who haven't been watching, it's like Arrested Development all over again. And thirdly do boys just need less sleep than girls? I'm embarrassed to admit that Luke still isn't sleeping through the night, both girls were at his age. He is also a bad napper. Ashby napped in 30 minuted increments until she was probably 6-7 months old. Luke seems to be following in that pattern. What am I doing wrong and isn't he tired? Heaven knows I am.

On a more positive note, I am very excited that it's almost Christmas. It's so fun having kids who are so excited, it makes me all the more excited. I can't wait until Roger and Ashby are off work and school next week, I'm ready for some serious family togetherness!

Nathan is a bad napper too. It drives me bonkers. I feel for ya. Have you tried letting him cry it out, just putting in a binky every 10 minutes? (I know people will think I'm a horrible mother for suggesting it-- but I don't care!)

Oh no! Not Pushing Daisies! We love that show too.

You know, Isaiah is my worst napper too. I think maybe they get worse as you have more kids and are less able to cater your whole day to their whims. Don't worry - he'll eventually sleep all night. And you too! Maybe he'll give you a full night's rest for a Christmas present.

firstly, i really do think that they cancel all the good television shows...it is fated against us! second, the fact that you had children who slept through the night before the age of one is amazing to me...or maybe you are right, it could just be those crazy boys...

Ok so I totally agree about it ONLY being Wednesday. Also I totally agree about Pushing Daisies. Jamie and I love that show! Don't beat yourself up about Luke not sleeping. You do what you can, and really I think it's hard to avoid being pretty tired practically the first year of their life! Sorry for the long comment, you know I just always have so much to say!
