Do you love it?

I love and I mean love fall in Pennsylvania. The weather has been awesome and humidity almost non existent. Roger keeps saying that there's love in the air, what I think he's really trying to say is that it's football season. Is there anything better than fall and college football? Little, very little I would say. Go Cougars and all I'm asking out of this weekend's game is that you not totally humiliate yourselves OK? Good.

Also, I don't get it. What do you ask, well I'll tell you (it's my blog right?), women that walk around in workout gear. Am I to believe that these individuals just got done working out and needed to hurry and run some errands before they could change? If that's the case where can I sign up for the non-red and sweaty post workout face? Or is it because there's nothing else to wear? Or is it just because these people plan on eating lots of cookies so they need an elastic waistband? I can't figure it out. Anyone have any insight?

I love Fall, too. I do not love college football, but I do love Fall for other reasons.

I feel that I must defend workout-wearin' Mama's. (Not all of them, because I think you're right that way too many people walk around in workout gear for a lot of their lives.) But I do occassionally stop to run an errand on the way to the gym. I always stop on the way TO the gym so that I don't have red-sweaty-face. ... But mostly I agree with you. There are plenty of pants that aren't skin-tight and workout-y that are still comfy. Same goes for shoes.

Ah Fall and college football, I believe Sean took his 6 week break from rotations at this time so he could watch said Cougars, alas I lose a husband even when he is supposed to be home :( I am excited to have fall and wear my long sleeved shirts and watch football :)

As for the gym clothes, totally agree with you, bugs me to death!! Get dressed for the day come on!! If I ever go out in my "gym/pj's" (b/c I am sick or it is before 8) I go to walmart figuring I will fit in :) is that mean and stereotypical? oh well.

Sorry long comment, had to get it all out though. So make a girl think Chels!

You do not want my oppinion on this one Chels, but I will give it to you anyway. In utah it seemed that a lot of women around my area wear the tight, sleeveless work out clothes all the time. Why? I always want to ask. I assume it is to show a little skin before they go home and put on what they are "supposed" to be wearing. Way to much skin for women that I then see at church on Sunday! Sounds like you guys are doing good! Can't wait for the day when we both live in Utah and I can give you a call for a playdate!!!

I've been guilty of running errands after working out, but I do get the red-faced, sweaty vibe to go with it. At least people will believe I actually did work out.

Yes - I have some insight on the work-out wear. While you may love the beautiful trees in PA in the fall, and the lovely weather, we also have to deal with Pittsburghers who believe appropriate dinner attire is sweat pants and dressing up for the night is throwing on your best Steelers jersey. I have been complaining about this since I moved to this lovely city. I think it's just the norm around these parts - much to our dismay.

I once came home from working out and had to turn right around to take the kids to school... My clothes were sooooo gross, so I changed into clean workout clothes--just so I would have an excuse for the red/sweaty face and matted hair. Is that vanity or just plain stupidity?

Yes, I absolutely LOVE fall, and I do think love is in the air. Cary made his first move at a BYU football game too. I laugh to remember it!
