Alright already

So it's cold here. Like really cold still. Like we still have to wear coats and gloves to the bus stop cold. Isn't is spring? I'm getting really fed up with this mother nature character. I'm so ready for it to be spring. Here's why:
Top five (really I could name about a bazillion) reasons I want spring.

1. We could finally ditch the coats and the girls could wear these cute sweaters from grandma.

2. I'm ready to try our hand at gardening. I can't wait to get those seeds in the ground.
3. I want to go to the park, in the backyard and anywhere else that's not the living room.
4. I want to use the sunroof. That is by far my favorite feature of any car and it's been neglected far too long.
5. I want to do fun things in the city. Go to Station Square again, ride the Monongahela Incline, movies in the park, etc, etc.
So alright already, do you think mother nature will get the memo this time?

Look, it's a......

Head is at the right, legs on the left, arms sticking up in the middle!

...BABY!!!! Yep, we are finally pregnant. It took us exactly a year to get pregnant with number 3. We are so unbelievably excited. It doesn't quite seem real. This baby is due around October 6. Apparently the only time we can have babies is in the fall! We were so excited to have an ultrasound last week. I didn't think we would be able to see much, but the baby was moving all about and waving arms and legs, it was so fun to see. The only complication so far is placenta previa. The good news is that 90% of placenta previa corrects itself before the 20th week. The bad news is that my doctor told me I can't do anything until my next ultrasound. No lifting, no exercising, on and on. It's going to be a rough 2 months for the family. But it's important to keep every one healthy. The girls are excited, although I'm not sure how much they get it. They will for sure when I'm showing. So this also means that I will be 7 months pregnant at the Worth family reunion... anyone care to join me in pregnancy? Nancy or Nancy?

All the fun

We had so much fun over the weekend. Have I ever mentioned how much I love, love, love living close to Bryan and Anna. Of course I don't see them as much as I would like, but when we do it sure is fun. They came out over the weekend to help us celebrate Roger's birthday. I did a terrible job of taking pictures, I don't even have one of the birthday boy. We ate at the infamous Primanti Bros., then went bowling. Our kids haven't been in a long time and they really enjoyed it. The girls kept it close with Roger and Bryan for the first game. Ashby had a score of 76, Bryan 75 and Avery 74. Roger would have been in there too except for the turkey that he bowled in the 8th, 9th and 10th frames. You should have seen the turkey dance, it was one of the best I've seen.

Of course the Easter bunny came for a visit and brought way too much candy. My mom provided the cute dresses. Again I failed miserably at picture taking, but here's the best I got!

It was such a great weekend, I wish Bryan and Anna and their family could be here all the time!

See, I tried to take pictures, but no one would look at me! Ashby, Avery and Sidni at the bowling alley.

Bryan and Roc, waiting for their turn.

Roger helping Avery. Both girls abandoned the ramp in favor of the granny roll. It was awesome.

We love new Easter dresses!

Dinosaurs!

We took a trip to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History this weekend. The girls enjoyed looking at all the dinosaur bones. They have a place where kids can dig for dinosaur bones. The best part was watching the girls figure out how to see through the goggles well enough to dig for bones!

How'd ya do?

Well could you name those babies? Here's the answer....
From left to right: Andrew Worth (born November 2002), Sara Stewart (January 2003), Sophia Rodriquez (December 2002) and Ashby Worth (October 2002). This picture was taken in the hotel we all stayed at while we were in Seattle for Gary's (Roger's brother) funeral. It was five years ago this weekend. We love and miss you Gary.

Name those babies

I was watching our screen saver slide show the other day and this picture came up. Can you
1. Name those babies and
2. Name where the picture was taken. It was a very special event.
I thought it was fun to see some old pictures, I thought others might enjoy it too!

Are you sure?

Well the verdict is in. Lucky Rog can go on sporting his clean shaven face for the next month. Unfortunately for all of us, Roger won't have to sport a handlebar mustache. Think of how great it could have been....

The woes of the tooth fairy

For lo and behold it requireth me to be present in the room of one Ashby Worth for two nights in a row. I am tired and not used to working this hard. For lo and behold I almost forgot both nights. Despite that, the results are one happy and very cute Ashby.

One down, well out....

and one to go. Roger has been working pretty hard on Ashby's loose teeth. He made it bleed last night, which means progress right? Ashby came into my room this morning, tooth in hand. She pulled it out sometime during the night or this morning. She looks very cute missing a tooth. Now we gotta work on that other one, before the permanent teeth come in all the way!

How to look like a creep 101

Roger has been sporting a goatee since Christmas. He decided to shave it over the weekend. We thought it would be funny to see what he would look like with various styles of facial hair. As it turned out, it was quite funny and really creepy. What do you think?

Before, in all his wannabe Ute fan glory.

The long mustache. He looks like Morgan Spurlock to me.

Short mustache, eeeeeeewwwwww.

Soul patch anyone?

All clean!

He said he's not committing to anything, however, I'm still putting up a vote. Vote for which style you think he should grow and keep for a month. I'll do my best to make him do it. If he's the good sport we think he is, he'll do it!
